Powertrain
A lift truck has to be tough enough to last for many hours of heavy use in extreme settings. These machinery need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast while still being ergonomic to the operator. The rugged, dependable Yale powertrain provides excellent durability through its extremely robust shafts and gears, state of the art clutch pack and computer managed transmission and engine. The transmission, engine, steer axle, and drive axle are all isolated in order to reduce noise and vibration within the operator's compartment.

Electrical
The electrical system of the lift truck is responsible for linking the truck's major nerve centers. Hence, the electrical system in the lift truck has to be durable and reliable for the most demanding hot/cold and dry/wet operations. There is much sophistication required in order to control truck functionality.

Yale trucks are recognized for delivering reliable electronics. The Yale CANbus electrical system makes use of digital technology and reduces wiring and lessens electrical connections too. This results in remarkable serviceability and improved reliability.

Hydraulics
The forklifts hydraulics are the vehicle's muscles, giving the necessary force to lift numerous heavy loads. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these components include: heavy-duty hydraulic valves, leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, fine micron filters and long lasting hoist and tilt cylinders. The control valve has been strategically positioned so as to prolong component life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
